Illumitry was founded by Marc Fong, who left a role leading Analytics & AI Solution Engineering for Southeast Asia at Google Cloud to build it. Across nearly a decade at Google Cloud, Marc helped the region's largest banks, telcos, insurers, and retailers turn AI from ambition into production — shipping the use cases, not just the slide decks.
His foundation is deeply technical: a computer science degree from the University of Melbourne, years architecting cloud-native and Kubernetes platforms, and a pre-sales career where success hinged on one thing — genuinely understanding what a customer needs and what their end users actually experience.
He started Illumitry to channel that enterprise-grade AI expertise toward a different mission: making AI accessible to the businesses and people too often left behind, and aiming it at problems that matter.
